This polyester filter replacement element for 1.5″ filter systems is manufactured by Vu-Flow/Rusco.  This is Vu-Flow part number is NT60SC-[mesh selection], or Rusco part number is FS1-1/2-[mesh selection].  This filter element is manufactured for use with both Vu-Flow 1.5″ T-Style filter systems (model NT-150) and Rusco 1.5″ Spin-Down Sediment filter systems (model 1-1/2-F).  Vu-Flow and Rusco are the same manufacturer, out of the same location in Brooksville, Florida.  The screen shipped may have either the Vu-Flow or Rusco branding as both are identical.   The re-usable filter element screen measures 8-1/8″ x 1-5/8″ and is available in several mesh sizes to meet your particular requirements. Also available in stainless steel (sold separately).
The information below notes general guidelines for mesh selection as provided by the manufacturer. Actual performance can vary due to variations in shape, size and specific gravity of the materials being filtered:
To filter water for –
* Shale, shell or debris: use 24 mesh (for general use purposes)
* Pipe scale or coarse sand: use 60 mesh (good for sprinkler systems, sand sensitive valves)
* Fine sand or grit from new wells: use 100 or 140 mesh (good for drip irrigation, sand sensitive valves)
* Very fine sand and grit: use 250 or 500 mesh (good for pre-treatment)
* Very fine sand and grit: use 1000 mesh (good for pre-treatment, R.O., Ultra water systems)
In general, use the coarsest screen deemed necessary to filter the material you want removed. This will result in longer runs between blow-downs.
Mesh / Micron correlation –
* 24 mesh = 711 microns
* 60 mesh = 254 microns
* 100 mesh = 152 microns
* 140 mesh = 140 microns
* 250 mesh = 61 microns
* 500 mesh = 30 microns
* 1000 mesh = 15 microns

Shipping
Most items ship within 24 hours or less, and tracking will be provided. Multiple purchases can be combined at checkout for shipping discounts. Size and weight limitations on certain Flat-Rate and other boxes may apply. After purchase, customers may choose to arrange to pickup items at our location and any shipping fees paid will be refunded to you at the time of pickup. What it has come to mean is that the cost of the anticipated shipping is worked into the price of the item; or, that the Seller will overcharge for shipping to customers making less expensive purchases, to cover the offer of “free shipping” to customers making more expensive purchases. That is literally is a financial disadvantage to the Buyer 99% of the time, especially when making multiple purchases of the same item. On some items, it does work best for the Buyer, and in those cases we will offer free shipping. We leave it up to you, the consumer, to compare pricing knowing that a Seller who offers “free shipping” still may be selling their item for more than you would pay from us, even when adding in shipping costs when they apply.
Returns
Unused items may be returned for any reason during the noted return period for a money-back refund or credit toward an exchange as allowed through eBay. Returns for damage or due to an error on our part will receive a full refund and we will cover all related shipping costs through eBay Returns. All other refunds will be issued less the restocking fee (if applicable) as noted in the eBay listing. Except in the case of product defect, returned items must not have been installed or used, must contain all accessories and hardware, be in their original manufacturer packaging and in their original condition. All returned items must be packaged inside of an outer shipping container. Please do not use the manufacturer’s packaging as the shipping box.
Sales Tax
