Large Fluorescent Clinohedrite Faces on Hardystonite & Willemite, Franklin, NJ

Description

A big slab of blue/purple fluorescent hardystonite with 2 faces of bright orange clinohedrite. One end has some red-fluorescent calcite and there is green fluorescent willemite, black franklinite and golden andradite. If you look closely at the daylight photos, you can see the light purple of the clinohedrite.
UV photos taken under 254nm shortwave lamps. From the Franklin Mine, Franklin, NJ. Size: 6″ x 2-1/2″ x 2″. Weight is 2 lbs. 7 oz. or 1096 grams.
